Paula and I found a great hosting organization Frontier Horizons who have been very helpful and we are trying to host Albina and Nadia for the Xmas holiday! We also accomplished a feat the is unheard of in the world of adoption. We completed a whole new dossier in 8 days, complete with a home-study update and USCIS, Fbi checks - the whole set of docs. We are re-submitting to the SDA next week with a petition for Albina and Nadia.
We also have a new facilitator who is more in touch, honest and straight with us. His name is Dima, an experienced young man who seems to be on top of everything and understands the process.
Keep your prayers coming ! I'll let you know what happens...

Are you still working with the same agency?
No we are not working with an agency at all now...alot of time and $ later we have found that it is much easier, quicker and cheaper to work directly with a facilitator. We are not working with the same facilitator either. He was not honest, and did not take care of everything.
Hoping that you are able to get over to Ukraine soon and get your kids.
I am so glad you didn't give up! We are hosting for the first time with this organization also. We are hosting the little girl we previously hosted with another organization. We tried to adopt her last December along with our daughter, but her aunt asked her not to go. We hope and pray that she will reconsider.
That is so great that you were able to gather your dossier so quickly. I'll have to ask you later about your facilitator.
Best wishes,
June
I've been following your blog and was so sad - and a bit angry - about what you experienced. But now, I am so happy for you and hope that all your plans go well. Good for you for hanging in there - It took my cousins four months to find their daughters three years ago, and another two months to bring them home (September through March with a month back home in between in February). This was the year the SDA closed down for about six weeks. But it eventually happened, and our family and my two young cousins from Ukraine could not be happier.
Just goes to show - with patience and faith, all things are possible.
Best wishes,
